MY PERSONAL STORY
BH1.jpeg

My mother died when I was thirteen. This singular event, combined with my family secret, cushioned my responses to the rest of life, fueling my longing to make a difference.

Although I once counted years by the number of Christmases following my mother’s death, I did more than just let life slip by. I was a published poet in college and returned to writing when my youngest child was finishing elementary school. On my continued search for meaning, I was sandwiched in a three-car accident, shaking me up to remember I have this one wild life to live and right now is the best time to begin to live it full of purpose.

Rooted in spirituality through my family’s origins in Christianity, I willingly broadened my search for deeper meaning, studying with indigenous shamans of Peru and the teachers who brought the understanding of this cosmology to North America.

Refreshed through these studies while combining my personal interests in the energetic qualities of essential oils, I blend a role as a family law paralegal with my natural inclination to help others find their inner peace and wholeness. I return to my family’s secret of sensitivities as I help people come back to center in ways which benefit their alignment of body, mind, heart, and spirit.

I live from the center of my being, ready to help you live from yours.

Today, I combine my energy practices with my work as a hypnotist, having completed over 500 hours of personal training from Matthew Brownstein, founder of the Institute of Interpersonal Hypnotherapy, the only hypnotherapy school licensed by the Florida Department of Education.

Also certified by the Institute of Energy Medicine to teach Dying Consciously, I offer an attentive ear to assist those who are moving through the lingering pain from the death of a loved one or as a result of divorce.  The use of hypnotic practices assists in easing the transition.

Many exceptional teachers, whether in the legal field, shamanism, Psych K classes, essential oils, writing, or poetry have helped me create vibrant threads of expression unique to who I am, as I consciously weave the tapestry of my life. I recognize and honor the need for personal and individualized offerings for each client session.
